Just missing my waffles or pancakes, but this does it in a pinch. Along with hot cup of tea and I love it.

The eggs look good, but I’m not sure I’d want to start my day by consuming half a kilo of meat.

Can’t speak for everyone, but so far that’s been my experience, yes.

Mind you, it may have some comorbidity with a generally upset digestive system due to stress, but the people my age (30-40-ish) with whom I’ve interacted so far have confirmed a degradation in their capacity to handle heavy meals.

Spicy food tends to deal an especially nasty blow, so there goes one of my favourite things…

Edit: and it’s not necessarily the heartburn in itself, I find the bloating and that feeling of churning in the abdomen to be more uncomfortable.

I still eat eggs even with the bird flu pricing (I’m still not convinced it isn’t just a story to justify price gouging). But I haven’t been able to afford steak in months. That’s at least a $25 breakfast even if I cooked it at home. I’m aiming for under $3. I still make what I made 25 years ago. This economy is so fucked for the working class.

Wife splurged she gets tips with her job so ever now and then she treats us. Besides we got 3 ribeye steaks at our local grocers for 25 bucks. So lot cheaper then 25 dollar meal.
